Stefanos Tsitsipas: The “Midas” of Greek tennis surpasses $34 million in prize money!

Stefanos Tsitsipas keeps making history—not just on the court but also in his bank account after securing the title at the Dubai tournament

Antonis Patsouras March 9 02:00

The Greek champion added another $605,530 to his earnings, breaking past the $34 million mark in total prize money from tennis tournaments.

Right now, Tsitsipas holds the 11th spot on the all-time list of highest-earning tennis players. At the top sits the unstoppable Novak Djokovic with $186,249,969, followed by Rafael Nadal ($134,946,100) and Roger Federer ($130,594,339).

The “Golden” List of Top Earners

With 354 wins and 12 titles, Tsitsipas may not have a Grand Slam to his name yet, but he’s already surpassed many legendary players. Here’s how the rankings look:

5th – Alexander Zverev ($51,838,716) – also without a Grand Slam
6th – Daniil Medvedev ($45,490,410)
7th – The legendary Pete Sampras ($43,280,489)
8th – Rising star Jannik Sinner ($39,389,088)
9th – Carlos Alcaraz ($38,804,003)
10th – Stan Wawrinka ($37,415,891)

These figures reflect only prize money from tournaments, excluding sponsorships and endorsements, which add millions more to each player’s fortune.
