Tragedy struck at noon on Tuesday (8/4) on Mayor Christos Bekas Street in Spata when a 3-year-old boy was swept away by a passing vehicle, resulting in his death.

The driver of the car stopped after the accident and took the child to the local health centre. However, doctors determined that the minor was dead.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances under which the tragedy occurred.
