Iraq: US troops will train Kurdish fighters against the Islamic State

The first 100 soldiers will arrive in the Middle East in the coming days

US Minister of Defense Chuck Hagel ordered the first group of about 100 American soldiers to travel in the Middle East in the coming days in order to create education positions for members of the Syrian opposition fighting against the jihadist Islamic State.

It is worth noting that Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia have offered to accommodate education positions in order to help against fighting the Islamic State.
