“I would rather die from coronavirus than stay at home with my wife”, elderly Greek says (hilarious video)

“If you found 20,000 euros in a recycling bin, what would you do? A deputy manager of a technology store is worthy of congratulations, who found a modem packaging box containing … 20,000 euros in an electronics recycling bin and immediately informed the police.

The police officers of the Sub-Division for the Prosecution and Detection of Crimes of Northeast Attica were immediately mobilized and after analyzing video footage they revealed what had happened and located the owner.
The story: The money had been accidentally dropped by an elderly man, who had placed the box with other items for recycling without realising what it contained. He said it was intended to pay for a renovation crew!
A story that shows how easily mistakes can happen, but also the value of honesty and cooperation.”
