Sweden, one of the top favorites this year’s Eurovision and leading in predictions, had already made a strong impression on the contest stage in Basel from the very first rehearsal. The band KAJ, representing the country with the song “Bara Bada Bastu,” delivered a stunning live performance tonight in the first semi-final, blending folk, rap, and pop through an inventive musical approach.
Wearing their characteristic green costumes, KAJ appeared on stage in sixth position in the semi-final, impressing with their presence and aesthetic. The background visuals saw some changes: for example, the fire element became more prominent, and the wood storage was redesigned to facilitate the movement of the three dancers accompanying the band.

The performance started with low smoke creating a misty effect, immediately immersing the audience in the song’s theme. Behind them was a fairy-tale forest with reindeer, adding a dreamy dimension to the scene.
As the song reached its climax, the atmosphere changed dramatically, with lasers, neon lights, and explosive visual effects transforming the stage completely. The musical bridge with the guitar was accompanied by spectacular fireworks, culminating in a highly impressive display.
