A treasure hunt through monuments

Tour guides are ready to take young and old on a treasure hunt through Greek monuments and museums

The Athens Licensed Tourist Guides Association is hosting its 5th Treasure Hunt on February 15. The event, held as part of celebrations for International Tour Guide Day on February 21, takes participants on a hike through monuments and museums around Athens.

The event begins at the Byzantine and Christian Museum at 10 a.m. and includes visits to Aristotle’s Lyceum, Zappeion, St. Fotini Church, Hadrian’s Arch, the Roman Baths, and ends at the Museum of Folk Art and Tradition in Plaka.

Winners of the treasure hunt will receive free guided tours for March 1 and certificates of participation are given to the children.
