Each minutes, over 300 hours worth of videos are uploated on Youtube, with one billion users per minute. In Greece, over 6 million users use youtube with 53% of them sharing videos. Greeks watch over 1.3 billion youtube videos per month.

Google stats found that Greek Youtubers entered mainly for entertainment purposes (98%) whereas 75% entered for information and 65 % for communication.
