Jordanian royal couple visits brave Jordanian pilot’s family

The woman was inconsolable

Newsroom February 6 01:29

This is the moment where Queen of Jordan, Rania, embraces the wife of the Jordanian pilot burned alive by ISIS jihadists.

The royal Jordanian couple visited the residence of the pilot in Karak, southern Jordan. Anwaar Tarawneh, the wife of the martyred pilot was distraught and inconsolable as the Queen of Jordan embraced her. The widow revealed that she found out about her husband’s death through a Facebook post. Anwar Tarawneh had been married to Moaz al-Kasasbeh for just five months when he was captured by ISIS after ejecting from his F-16 near the rebel-held city of Raqqa, in eastern Syria.
