These are the 21 newly elected Greek MEPs

Eva Kaili received the most votes among the candidates of “Elia” party – SYRIZA’s Manolis Glezos achieves record victory - Manolis Kefalogiannis is first among the candidates of New Democracy – Grammatikakis is first among the candidates of ‘To Potami’

The list of the 21 Greek MEPs who will go to Brussels for the next five years seems to be finalized at last, as the counting of votes reaches its final stages and the procedure for the allocation of seats in the European Parliament is about to be completed.

Regarding the candidates of “Elia” party, Eva Kaili received the most votes, followed by Nikos Androulakis, while Pantelis Kapsis is left outside the European Parliament.

More specifically, with a large percentage of votes (89.02%) counted, Ms. Kaili receives 104,928 votes, followed by Mr Androulakis with 101,331 votes and Mr Kapsis with 95,124 votes.

As regards the other parties, the list of the elected MEPs is as follows: Manolis Glezos from SYRIZA is triumphantly elected with 419,738 votes, followed by Sophia Sakorafa (268,212 votes), Dimitris Papadimoulis (179,644), Konstantina Kuneva (157,160), Yorgos Katrougalos (155,929) and Kostas Chrysogonos (132,782).
Runner up: Stelios Kouloglou, with 128,782 votes.

The 5 New Democracy MEPs are: Manolis Kefalogiannis (219,217 votes), Maria Spyraki (216.545), Eliza Vozemberg (195,045) , Yorgos Kyrtsos (188,718) and Theodoros Zagorakis (163,459). Runner up: Niki Tzavela, with 119,526 votes.

The 3 elected Golden Dawn MEPs are: Eleftherios Synadinos (84,897 votes), Lampros Fountoulis (78,017) and Yorgos Epitidios (74,160) .

The 2 elected MEPs from ‘To Potami’ are: George Grammatikakis (66,664 votes) and Miltiades Kyrkos (24.801). Runner up: Vassilis Dosoulas, with 23,954 votes.

The Communist Part of Greece will be represented in the new European parliament by Konstantinos Papadakis (94,548 votes) and Sotiris Zarianopoulos (91,054).

ANEL will have one MEP in the European Parliament, namely Notis Marias with 34,290 votes. George Romanias was left outside the parliament with 31,066 votes.
