A search is underway in the sea area south of Lefkada to locate two people who were SUPing (stand-up paddleboarding).
The rescue operation is being carried out under the coordination of the Unified Search and Rescue Coordination Centre (CSRC). It involves three Coast Guard vessels and private boats in the area.
According to information, northwest winds of 4-5 Beaufort are blowing in the area.
