-Meeting with PM A. Tsipras was a highly amiable occasion
– Today’s summit meeting hardly focused only on Greek matters
– I am more than willing to collaborate with Mr. Tsipras
– Greece’s bailout program is still in effect, though it should be prolonged
– I am really looking forward to hearing new suggestions
– It is my conviction that now is the time to wait in anticipation of mutual proposals
– German Chancellor holds firm belief that the existing bailout program is in effect, yet what is still open is the question of its extension.
– We did not enter into negotiations – Mr. Tsipras asked for help on technical changes
European Commission President Jean–Claude Juncker:
-We plan to replace 30% of the Greek program with new economic and structural measures
-We need a deal on Greece by Monday
Eurogroup Chief Jeroen Dijssenbloem:
-Expectations should not be high on the issue of Greek debt
– Political compromise is very hard
-Procedures for Greece will take time
