Newsroom August 9 04:57

Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced, through a Facebook post, the contribution of Hellenic Air Force aircraft in delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Specifically, he wrote:

“This morning, two aircraft of the Hellenic Air Force carried out drops of 8.5 tons of essential food supplies to areas in Gaza. The operation was organized in cooperation with countries of the European Union and the Middle East, aiming to support the basic needs of people in the war-torn region. Greece will continue to take initiatives for the immediate cessation of hostilities, the release of hostages, and the unobstructed flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza. It is the duty of all of us to immediately put an end to human suffering.”
