Meteorologist Giorgos Tsatrafillas speaks of a return of temperatures to levels of 40 degrees Celsius in some areas of Greece in the coming days in a post on the weather of the next few days.
As he explains, while in eastern and southern Greece will persist strong north winds that “give breaths of coolness, western and northern Greece, the southern mainland and the Dodecanese, will experience heat wave conditions with thermometers exceeding even 40-41 degrees Celsius.”
According to Alpha’s meteorologist, these temperatures will plague these areas until next Wednesday.
As for December, the estimate is that “the weather will be very good with no extremes” while “in general, August seems to be bidding us farewell warmer than normal.”
