Cypriot police have started a manhunt to track a man who stabbed a person at the Libyan ambassador’s residence in Nicosia.

According to protothema.gr sources, an unknown man knocked on the ambassador’s door and then stabbed the person who answered.

There is no confirmation if the injured party is the Libyan ambassador himself or a member of his family.

The perpetrator is possibly of Middle Eastern origin, police said.
