Carlos Latuff does it again.
The Brazilian cartoonist conveys his view of reality in a humoristic and unique way.
Greek PM Alexis Tsipras sits at a desk facing an unknown person sitting in a chair, purportedly representing the EU. The unseen official has his thumb raised in the well-known Romanesque signal that all is “OK”.
On the other, Tsipras has his arms raised to his sides with his palms open, the ubiquitous apologetic stance seen in the sketch. A third person respresenting an angry Greece holds the text of the deal and a magnifying glass in order to read the … “fine print”, while turning to the young leftist leader with an “… if looks could kill” expresson on her face.
Latuff comments that “SYRIZA makes concessions to reach an agreement with the Eurogroup”.
