Addressing an event organized by the Greek-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said on Wednesday that there is a plan B if the country doesn’t receive the loan tranche in March.

No details were given.

Varoufakis revealed in his speech that the government’s program for the next four months will seek to ensure funding from EU and repay debt installments towards the IMF.

Commenting on the possibility of a third bailout for Greece, he said that the chance of this happening is non-existent and noted that Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem was right to deny it.

As for the mention of the “troika” by Angela Merkel yesterday, Varoufakis underlined that the German Chancellor is a factor of stability and that she probably used the word out of habit.
