Equity prices rose on the Athens Stock Exchange at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with the basic share price index increased by 2.86% at 837.98 units. Turnover was at 15.55 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 2% and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 2.58%.

All individual sectors indices were moving upwards with the biggest gains being in Banks (+6.94%), Health (+5.12%), Utilities (+4.81%) and Financials (+4.61%).

Of the stocks traded, 52 were up, 14 were down and 8 were unchanged.
