Marios Tembos appointed interim CEO of ELTA after Gregory Sklikas resignation

The new head takes over from the resigned Gregory Sklikas after the reactions to the restructuring plan of the organisation

Marios Tembos has been appointed interim CEO of the Hellenic Post (ELTA), following the resignation of Gregory Sklikas amid backlash over the company’s restructuring plan.

Until now, Tembos served as ELTA’s Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director. According to his official biography on the organization’s website, he brings extensive experience in business transformation, procurement, and sales.

Before joining ELTA, Tembos worked with the Olympia Group, where he held the position of Business Transformation Leader at Public. He also previously served as Head of Sales Operations, as well as Head of Sales and Marketing, eventually becoming Chief Operating Officer within the same group.

Throughout his career, he has managed complex transformation programs and projects, specializing in operational planning and performance improvement.

Tembos holds an Executive MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Middlesex University in the United Kingdom. He has also pursued further studies in business and management in the UK.
