At Eleftherias Park, the final farewell to Alekos Flambouraris

The political funeral of Alekos Flambouraris, who passed away on Tuesday, November 18, at the age of 87, will be held at 14:30 at Eleftherias Park, in the area of the former EAT-ESA.

The family of Alekos Flambouraris expressed the wish that, instead of wreaths, contributions be made to the Center for the Professional Rehabilitation of Persons with Special Needs (KEA/AMEA).

Shortly before 13:30, the coffin arrived at Eleftherias Park. A scene of profound sorrow unfolded when the wife of the former Minister of State, Evi Flambourari, emotionally collapsed, crying uncontrollably over her husband’s coffin.
