Parliamentary inquiry into OPEKEPE: Findings submitted to the Speaker of Parliament

The report will be posted on the official website of the Hellenic Parliament and circulated to MPs for review

The findings of the parliamentary inquiry “into the investigation of all issues that have arisen regarding the operation of the Payment and Control Agency for Guidance and Guarantee Community Aid (OPEKEPE), with a view to identifying any responsibilities and restoring the credibility of the agricultural aid payment system so that it functions as a reliable, effective, and fair mechanism for all producers in the country,” were submitted to the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, Nikitas Kaklamanis.

The report was formally delivered by members of the inquiry committee’s presidium: its chair, Andreas Nikolakopoulos, and its secretary, Ioanna Litrivi.

The parliamentary inquiry committee on OPEKEPE was established on 29 July 2025 by decision of the Plenary of the Hellenic Parliament, following a proposal by the Parliamentary Group of New Democracy, pursuant to Article 68(2) of the Constitution and Article 144 of the Rules of Procedure of the Hellenic Parliament.

The submission of the findings was announced today in the Plenary. The report will be uploaded to the official website of the Hellenic Parliament and distributed to Members of Parliament so they can take note of its contents.
