The US and US-led coalition forces conducted 21 air strikes which hit targets in Syria and Iraq early on Thursday morning, according to a US official.

15 air raids in Iraq targeted ISIS positions in seven cities and their outskirts, including Ramadi and Mosul, destroying many buildings, vehicles and units of ISIS fighters.

The other six raids were conducted in Syria and were successful in hitting many ISIS units, according to official announcements.
