The gap between Marine and Jean-Marie Le Pen becomes deeper and deeper after the anti-Semitic comments of her father against a Jewish singer.

The new leader of the National Front party disapproved publicly her father’s statements but also took more drastic measures deciding to stop hosting the weekly blog of Le Pen on the website of the party.

According to the spokesman of the party, the decision was made for legal reasons since Marine Le Pen tries to protect the party from racial abuse lawsuits and to embellish the far-right image of her party as she seeks allies in the European Parliament.

The lawyer of the party announced that the blog will be hosted elsewhere on the Internet, but without clarifying the location.
