In the solemn atmosphere of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens, the Easter concert of the Athens Municipality Choir titled “Of Your Mystical Supper” will take place on Tuesday, March 31 at 19:00.

The choir members, under the musical direction of conductor Stavros Beris and with Dimitris Vezyroglou on the organ, will perform religious choral works inspired by the Divine Passion, spanning from the Byzantine era to the present day.

More specifically, the program will include works by Jacob Handl, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Stevan Hristić, Gyorgy Deak Bardos, Lajos Bardos, Anthimos Nikolaidis, Themistoklis Polykratis, Nikolaos Marangos, Dimitris Papapostolou, Panagiotis Skoufis, Theodoros Papakonstantinou, Themis Sermie, Nestor Taylor, and Mikis Theodorakis.

Admission for the public will be free.
