Everything, from the Tsipras-Juncker telephone conversation, to the Tsipras-Dragasakis talks late last night, points to a convergence of views and a possible agreement by Monday’s Eurogroup.

The approach from both sides is stable, and the talks focus on specific issues: fiscal, taxation, employment, insurance, and privatizations.

The PM is in constant talks with European officials and leaders in order to combat any problems that may arise on a technical level, on a political level. Information states that if need be, said feverish talks will continue over the weekend in order for Monday’s Eurogroup to end in a statement of convergence. This move may not be an official devision, of course, but hints towards one, while it will also signal the ECB’s liquidity provision to Greece.

Athens must pay off 780 million euros to the IMF on Tuesday.

The Greek government does not fail to show its optimism with constant statements by poitical leaders, even though Berlin and Brussels may wish to keep things on a more grounded level, expecting no groundbreaking decisions on Monday.
