The Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, visited today (8/4) the 306 Telecommunications Base Factory in Acharnes, noting in a post on X that he observed significant progress in the development of unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) production stations and in the use of 3D printing technologies.
As he states, this was a repeat visit, adding that both there and at the 316 Regional Technical Workshop in Xanthi, another substantial step is being implemented in the transition of the Armed Forces to the New Era.



In detail, the Minister of National Defence’s post:
“I was very pleased to visit once again today the 306 Telecommunications Base Factory in Acharnes, where I observed the significant progress achieved in the development of unmanned aerial vehicle production stations and in the use of 3D printing technologies.
Here, as well as at the 316 Regional Technical Workshop in Xanthi, another substantial step is being implemented in the transition of the Armed Forces to the New Era.”
