Despite the intense pressures exerted by the international environment on shipping and transport costs, the government has managed to keep ferry ticket prices stable ahead of the Easter period, according to Shipping Minister Vasilis Kikilias.
In his statement, Mr. Kikilias noted that the government is focusing on supporting “coastal shipping and, above all, citizens, passengers, travelers, and island residents.”
In full, Mr. Kikilias stated:
“Despite the war, the difficult international environment, the energy crisis that has emerged, and the prevailing uncertainty, the Greek government has managed to keep ferry ticket prices under control during the Easter period, supporting coastal shipping and, most importantly, citizens, passengers, travelers, and islanders.”
