An ex officio police preliminary investigation is underway into the incidents that took place this morning at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, while the public prosecutor’s office is being kept informed about the progress of the investigation.
According to the police, the 39 individuals who were detained as part of the investigation into the incident were later released.
Meanwhile, according to the latest update from Papageorgiou Hospital regarding the condition of those injured and transported by EKAB ambulances, a 20-year-old suffered a fracture of the radial head, as well as head and chest injuries, and will remain hospitalized.
In total, as clarified by the hospital — following an earlier update referring to six injured people — seven injured individuals were transported there. They include four men and three women, aged between 19 and 27. Five of them suffered limb injuries (upper, lower, or both) and bruising. A 27-year-old sustained injuries to the limbs, head, and chest. Apart from the 20-year-old, the injured do not require hospitalization.
