Authorities in Abu Dhabi responded to a fire caused by a drone attack on an electrical generator outside the inner perimeter of the Barakah nuclear power plant in the Al Dhafra region, the Abu Dhabi Media Office announced today.

No injuries were reported from the attack, while radiological safety levels were not affected. The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation in Abu Dhabi confirmed that the plant’s core systems continue to operate normally.
