Islamic terror group ISIS have released barbaric footage of new executions. Tired with the same images of victims being executed or having their throats slashed and after holding Twitter competitions calling their followers to think of executions, the Islamic militants are coming up with “innovative” killing methods.

Harrowing footage showing samples of vile executions in Nineveh, Iraq, has been leaked. In one execution featured alongside others are five prisoners in a locked cage fitted with underwater cameras. The cage with the terrified orange-garbed prisoners is slowly lowered into a swimming pool showing the men drown. The cage is then lifted out of the pool with the dead men inside.

The video then cuts into another execution of four victims locked in an old-looking car in the desert. An ISIS executioner fires a rocket-propelled grenade and blows up the car.

In other footage, prisoners kneel with explosives around the neck. These are detonated after the prisoners each admit to spying.

ISIS has claimed 16 men were killed after being accused of and being made to admit to spying.
