A 12 year-old girl, a suicide bomber, set off the explosives on her body in northeastern Nigeria yesterday, killing 9 people and wounding 30.

The suicide bombing took place in the morning, while the market was busy.

This attack takes place the day following another suicide bombing which occurred at a bus stop near a big city in the northeastern part of the country. The death toll reached 20 dead, while 50 were wounded.

No terrorist organization has yet assumed responsibility for these two attacks, but it matches the Boko Haram modus operandi.
