Former British prime minister Boris Johnson has returned to Greece for his summer holiday, continuing what has become an annual tradition for the family.

His wife, Carrie Johnson, did not disclose their exact location in photos she posted on social media, though the images made clear the family were enjoying a relaxed, happy break.

“Greek summer, part one,” she wrote. “Swimming, ice-cold beers and plenty of cheese pie. My favourite place in the world, after our home. My heart is full.”
