To facilitate the removal of the vessel, fuel had previously been removed to reduce its weight. At the same time, work was carried out to clear the seabed, with gravel and rocks removed from the area where the yacht had run aground.
A tugboat also played a crucial role, pulling the vessel with a towline toward deeper waters. The operation was completed successfully without any problems. Five people were on board the yacht, and all are reported to be in good health.
This was the yacht’s third refloating operation. Two previous attempts had been carried out in the preceding days, but neither was successful.
