Only 150,000 of the registered unemployed out of a million have received unemployment benefits, said the chairman of the Employment Agency, Mr. Theodoris Abatzoglou.
Speaking to the Greek TV channel “Mega”, Mr. Abatzoglou said that, the new programs for the unemployed will not start, as the funds from previous programs have not yet been absorbed .
Further, he mentioned that the program of camps for children of unemployed had a great response and may be re-opened.

The chairman of the Employment Agency also stated that from July 1 family benefits will be received through the Agricultural Insurance Organization.
