Thievery Corporation are in Athens for tonight’s concert at Plateia Nerou, the square located at the Olympic facilities for Tae Kwon Do and Beach Volley in Paleo Faliro. Tomorrow night the duo will give a repeat performance in Thessaloniki. Concert-goers are expected to hear tracks from their newest and seventh full album, “Saudade”, a bossa nova alubm that is a fusion of jazz and samba popularized in Brazil. Opening acts of the evening are Imam Baildi, Boogie Belgique, Penny & The Swingin’ Cats. Doors open today at 17.30 with tickets at 35 euros (presold at 25 and 30 euros)
