According to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) the two Greek Islands of Mykonos and Santorini have become the newest tourists destinations for Kuwaitis in the past few years.

Mykonos and Santorini Islands have seized the attention of young people who choose to spend their honeymoon there, due to the islands’ romantic atmosphere, KUNA says.

Bosnia – Herzegovina and Bulgaria are also very popular destinations for travelers from Kuwait.

The main attractions of Bosnia and Herzegovina are their outstanding natural beauty, reasonable living conditions and most importantly their Islamic characteristic.

In separate interviews with KUNA, some travel agents agreed that this year’s travel season will not begin until the end of the fasting month of Ramadan (end of July) when ticket prices will reach an all-time high.

They also pointed out that Frankfurt, London and Istanbul are fixed travel destinations for Kuwaitis all year round.
