A new poll conducted by Alco for Proto Thema newspaper shows New Democracy party leading over SYRIZA by 3.3% confirming that the election of Kyriakos Mitsotakis has brought a change to main opposition party, while SYRIZA’s voters seem to abandon Alexis Tsipras day by day.

More specifically, New Democracy receives 21.3% while SYRIZA comes second with 18%, while Greece’s Communist Party (KKE) comes third with 5.4%, followed by Golden Dawn with 5.2%.

The poll’s results are the following:

New Democracy: 21.3%

SYRIZA: 18%

KKE: 5.4%

Golden Dawn: 5.2%

Democratic Coalition (PASOK-DIMAR): 3.1%

Union’s Centrists: 2.6%

Independent Greeks (ANEL): 1.9%

Potami: 1.6%

Popular Unity: 1.3%

Other party: 4.1%
