The artist who made the wedding of George Clooney into a cartoon and Kim Kardashian while she was taking one of the thousands selfies, AleXsandro Palombo, explains why he loves to satirize Hollywood.
Seems that Palombo is obsessed with the American television series “The Simpsons”, since all his sketches flow from it.
“We live in an era of showbiz. Everything is a show. Politics is show, artists are a show even terrorists give a show everyday”. However according to him all celebrities are really happy with their sketches.
Besides his work with the celebrities, Palombo prejudice through sketches important social issues, such as in-school violence, domestic violence and political issues.
He does not hesitate to use the princess of Disney, Jasmine, saying “Freedom in Gaza” or Jessica Rabbit appearing with a mastectomy or painting the Beauty and Pocahontas in a wheelchair.
