Amber Heard arrested for domestic violence against her girlfriend

She allegedly grabbed and struck Tasya in the arm at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

Amber Heard, who claims that she is the victim of domestic violence by husband Johnny Depp, was arrested for domestic violence against her then partner Tasya van Ree, as TMZ reports.

According to law enforcement sources and documents, Amber and Tasya van Ree got in an argument on September 14, 2009 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Amber allegedly grabbed and struck Tasya in the arm. The incident upset Tasya who then triggered the arrest.

Amber was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence and appeared in court the following day.

Amber was said to have been released after prosecutors declined to move forward with the case, probably because both parties involved were residents of California and not Seattle, Washington.

As it is reported, the judge told Amber that she was not off the hook and that prosecutors could reconsider and refile the case within the two-year statute of limitations.
