Motorists in Athens are facing major delays due to increased traffic in major roads and highways due to the drizzle that started falling.

The biggest problems are observed on in Kifissos (uphill from Tavros to Nea Ionia and downhill from Metamorphosis to Tavros), on Kifissia avenue, downhill to towards Mesogion, on the coastal highway from Syggrou port to Piraeus port.

The bad weather is expected to intensify till midday, while it is forecast top ease from the late afternoon.
