ASE opening: Drop

Equity prices recorded a drop on Thursday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) as the basic share price index decreased by 1.22%, at 921.68 points at 11:00 am with a turnover at 14.12 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks decreased by 1.02% and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index also decreased by 0.22%.

The biggest gains on individual sector indices were recorded in Oil and Gas (+1.23%), Chemicals, (+1.57%) and in Constructions (+1.21%). The biggest losses were recorded in Banks (-2.40%), Public Utilities (-1.89%) and Raw Materials (-1.28%).
