Atheists in Greece hold meat-eating feasts on Good Friday

The supers will take place in three cities in Greece

It is turning into somewhat of a tradition, which atheists seem to abhor when it is coming from the religious quarters, but predictably for one more year, the Atheist Union of Greece is organising a meat-eating feast called “The Open Supper” garnering some publicity by mocking the Christian religious day of Good Friday when fasting from meat, among other products, is the tradition in the Orthodox Church.

The organisers are calling on all the people to take part in their feasts in at least three different cities of the country, Athens, Thessaloniki, and Serres, as they posted on their official site.

One wonders what some of the vegan atheists would think of the move…
