Equity prices dropped on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.79% at 1,079.37 points at 11.00 a.m., and turnover at 11.335 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks dropped by 0.83% and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index also fell by 0.58%.

The biggest gains on individual sector indices were in the Media (up by 3.33%), Construction (up by 0.80%) and Raw Materials (up by 0.60%). The biggest losses were in Real Estate (down 2.19%), Health (down 2.04%) and Food & Beverages (down 0.58%).
