Equity prices were rising on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 1.51%, standing at 1,168.81 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 7.28 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks increased by 1.53%, and the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was also increased by 0.70%.

On individual sector indices, only the Personal & Household one was falling (-0.13%).

The biggest gains were in Media (+3.45%), Food & Beverages (+1.845), Real Estate (+1.615), Construction (+1.30%) and Banks (+1.15%).

Of the stocks traded, 46 were up, 11 were down, and 8 were unchanged.
