Bad weather continues with snowfalls in Greece

Clouds and snow in most parts of Greece are expected and temperatures will drop significantly

The severe weather continues with low temperatures, snowfalls and heavy rainfalls accompanied by strong winds causing the death of a man and many damages.

Yesterday, a man was found dead in his car where he was trapped and swept away by the floods, while the main bridge on Pinios River at Kalabaka, central Greece, ruptured.

Most areas in Northern Greece are covered by snow, while snowfall is expected also in Athens. Wind velocity will reach 8 on the Beaufort scale and temperatures will drop significantly.

Clouds and snow in most parts of Greece are expected with temperatures ranging from -2C-3C in northern Greece, 2C-10C in western Greece, -1C-13C eastern regions  and -1C-13C in Aegean islands.

In Athens temperature will range from 1C to 6C and in Thessaloniki from 0C to 4C.
