Beril Mckissic: My great-grandmother is from Thessaloniki, I am 60% Greek (video)

“When I set foot in Greece, I felt like it’s home”

If someone visits the SEF (Stadium of Peace and Friendship) on a day when Olympiacos is playing, besides the team players from Piraeus, they will see on the court, just a breath away from the playing area, a beautiful blonde with an impressive body and equally impressive tattoos.

She is Beril Mckissic, the wife of Shaquille Mckissic, the American basketball player who has been making his living in Greece for the past few years wearing the Olympiacos jersey, enjoying life in Greece with Shaquille and their children.

The statement by Beril from 18:31″ to 18:47″ of the video:

It’s not the first time that she spoke of her Greek and Turkish, but with new statements, she clarified that she is 60% Greek.

Beril spoke to “Euroleague Basketball Originals: Overseas” of Euroleague and noted:

“I felt at home because my great-grandmother is from Thessaloniki. So I did a DNA test, and that’s why I’m 60% Greek. So when I set foot in Greece, I felt like it’s home”.

Beril has traveled throughout Greece, and for the sake of Shaquille, she even reached Lithuania last year to support Olympiacos in the Final-4.
