Blind art: Toronto filmmaker replaces his eye with a camera

Reality footage

Rob Spence, a Toronto-based filmmaker, has replaced an eyeball with a camera-eye. The eyeball he has replaced was a fake one he had since he had a freak shooting accident at the age of nine. Considering his fake eye useless as it did not allow him to see, the one-eyed filmmaker put a camera of his own invention in the socket. it looks like a regular prosthetic but it isn’t connected to an optic nerve. The micro radio-frequency transmitter is played on a handheld monitor and can be switched on and off with the push of a button.
