Brad Pitt: He gives up on the dispute with Jolie – Withdraws his request for joint custody of their children

One of Hollywood’s most famous court battles seems to be coming to an end – Jolie’s triumph in the Miraval winery trial too

Brad Pitt seems intent on ending his long-running legal battle with Angelina Jolie following their divorce.

The actor, according to the Daily Mail, is giving up his claim to claim custody of the six children he had with his ex-wife.

A source cited by the news outlet said the couple, who have been in a legal battle since 2016, are reportedly reaching a settlement this summer. Although Pitt initially sought to secure half custody of his children, he intends to withdraw, leaving full custody to the actress. Should that happen, he would have visitation rights.

Why was he driven to this decision?
Despite what has been written, neither side has announced anything about it officially or through a spokesperson. However, Pitt doesn’t seem to have much of a choice.

Three of his children, who are now adults (22-year-old Maddox, 20-year-old Pax and 19-year-old Zahara), are not on good terms with their father and as adults now, are not covered by any custody agreement.

Pete’s poor relationship with his children
Brad Pitt’s bad relationships with his children came to light a few months ago. First, Pax’s now infamous “Father’s Day” post from three years ago was leaked.

The 19-year-old, who adopted the couple in the past, had written something on his personal Instagram account about Brad Pitt, which proves they were not on good terms. In fact, it perhaps confirms what Angelina Jolie claimed about the Hollywood star’s aggressive behaviour towards her and their children.

In an Instagram story, which Pax immediately deleted but the Daily Mail managed to save, Pete’s son writes: “Happy Father’s Day to this world-class cop. Year after year, time and time again, you prove to yourself that you are a horrible and despicable person. You have no appreciation or empathy for your 4 younger children who tremble in fear when they are in front of you.

You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so. You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell.

Not long after, Jolie and Pitt’s 18-year-old daughter Zahara went viral on the Internet during an event where she introduced herself as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha fraternity on campus.

In a clip released, she introduced herself to the fraternity, proudly shouting: “My name is Zahara Marley Jolie,” without mentioning her father’s last name anywhere.
