Canadian Police used tear gas – At least 80 arrests

Canadian Police arrested at least 80 people after an anti-austerity demonstration in Montreal.

Shops and businesses were closed along the protest route.

Earlier, about 100 activists stormed the University of Quebec, wearing hoods and shouting slogans in solidarity to nine college students arrested during a similar protest in 2012.
