Davutoglu: Assad is Hitler

He directly opposed the USA’s stance against the Syrian leader

Turkish Prime Minsiter Ahmet Davutoglu stated that negotiating with Syrian president Bashar al-Assad is like shaking Adolf Hitler’s hand, underlining Turkey’s differing views to the USA as far as negotiating with the Syrian leader goes.

John Kerry stated on Sunday that Washington D.C. will have to negotiate with Assad while the State Department clarified that the US Secretary of State’s statements that the US government would not negotiate concerned the leader’s regime, but not himself.

Davutoglu this reiterated that the “Western Voices that tell us we need to negotiate with Assad make us wonder about our human values”.

The US have supported the Syrian opposition but the focus of their attention has been moved upon fighting against ISIS extremists especially after the Jihadists took over huge Syrian and Iraqi swaths of land.
