Erdogan states he doesn’t care about what the EU has to say

After he received worldwide criticism for arresting journalists all across Turkey

Turkish President Recept Tayip Erdogan replied ironically to the criticism he recived from the EU after Turkish police raided news outlets and arrested journalists all over the country.

Erdogan said that he is “indifferent” to the views of the EU and urged it to “mind her own business”.

Speaking as part of the inauguration of the new refinery of Tupras, the Turkish president stated that this is not an issue of freedom in the press, but “national security”.
